We are thrilled to announce that Mi Urban Space Ltd now has a new place of residence in an amazing building in Greater Manchester. We are very proud and humbled to have managed to bag one of the sought after office spaces at Ashton Old Baths, a stunning Victorian building that has been lovingly restored and designed with state of the art modern architecture.
We were offered the space by the fantastic Buildings Manager, Fiona, after an impromptu visit where we were shown around bespoke work spaces and communal meeting areas designed to bring together creative minds and innovative ideas. We just knew we belonged here! Our excitement and awe won Fiona over, along with Mandie's habit of stroking the beautiful original tiles that hark back to the building's previous days as a Victorian baths and a hub of the Ashton-Under-Lyne community.
Fun Fact1#: Did you know that, back in the day, you had to pay more to go to the baths at the beginning of the week when the water was clean than at the end of the week when you took your chances and most people (including miners and factory workers) had used the baths for their weekly wash?!
Fun Fact 2#: Ashton Old Baths contains the biggest data hub in Europe providing cloud storage for thousands of businesses all over the UK. AOB's Data Centre has won two awards of which one was for Global Data Centre of the Year 2021!
Fun Fact 3#: If you are looking for 'wow' factor for a networking event or meeting it doesn't get better than 'Top Deck'. A beautiful open space up in the ornate rafters of the building with custom built sliding doors:)
